The Cailleach was a celtic goddess who ruled over the winds and winter. She appeared as an old, veiled woman, who was both creator and destroyer and served as a patron of wolves. This bronze figurine shows her crouched down, rough pigtails appearing from her veil, she holds a large wooden stick in one hand and a wooden mallet in the other. She is joined by a howling wolf who stands by her side. Cast in the finest resin before being expertly finished in bronze, this Cailleach figurine will make the perfect addition to any historic or mythology collection.
