Goddess of love and beauty.
Very nice quality cold cast bronze figurine.
Arrives in a blue decorative box and polystyrene protective casing.
A Veronese design.
Aphrodite was the goddess of love, desire and beauty. There most well known myth about her birth was when Cronus castrated his father Uranus and tossed his severed genitals into the sea, Aphrodite arose from the sea foam on a giant shell and walked to shore. Aphrodite was the patron of love and lovers. She enjoyed in trapping other gods in love affairs, and she herself was not left out of the game. Being the lame god Hephaestus' wife, she embarked on an affair with Ares. This statue is beautifully designed, sculpted and handcrafted to the finest detail in cold cast (Bronze/pewter) finish.
Cold cast bronze combines real bronze powder with resin to create sculptures that replicate the look and weight of solid bronze. The pieces are highly detailed, with finely crafted textures and a smooth, polished finish. Each statue is substantial in weight, offering a realistic and durable representation of traditional bronze craftsmanship.
