Freyr is the Norse god of sun and rain, and the patron of bountiful harvests. He is both a god of peace and a brave warrior, and he is also the ruler of the elves. He is often referred as Yngvi-Freyr, and he is viewed as an ancestor of the Swedish royal house. Together with his sister Freya, he brings peace and prosperity to men and the blessings of fertility to the home and the field. This statue is beautifully designed, sculpted and handcrafted to the finest detail in cold cast metal (Bronze/pewter) finish.
