Pegasus is a mythical creature in Greek mythology, often depicted as a majestic, winged horse that is capable of flight. It is said to have been born from the blood of the Gorgon Medusa after she was slain by the hero Perseus. Pegasus later aided the hero Bellerophon in his battles and became a symbol of inspiration, wisdom, and poetic creativity in ancient Greece.
