An exquisite collection of hallmarked sterling silver wildlife. Artist: Sophie Mackrell.

My love of eastern and oriental art forms drew me to the ancient art of origami - the Japanese skill of folding paper to make recognisable forms. I wondered if this technique could be adapted to create jewellery or shapes cast in precious metals.

Whilst experimenting, it became apparent that wildlife forms worked especially well, and using silver I created these miniature designs inspired by the natural world around us.

Each piece sparkles and shines as the facets and folds dance in the light much like a beautifully cut precious stone.

Highly collectable small silver figurines. These eye catching miniatures feel weighty for their small size.

Each sculpture is presented in a high quality designer cloth pouch and gift bag, and then boxed. Also includes collection booklet.

Jan 2018 release.

"Hi. The Lurcher has arrived which is fantastic!! and the prompt service you provide is second to none. I would highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for an Animal Ornament. Thank you."

"My Discobolus arrived safely today, well packaged and protected and very promptly. Many thanks for letting me know it was available again. I'm really pleased with it, in fact it's excellent! As I said earlier, I've been looking for one for many years and hadn't found a decent one I could afford. This one is superb. Many versions just don't look right and quite a few seem to be copied from the one in the British Museum, which has the head in the wrong position. HIGHLY DELIGHTED!!"
