Initially it’s hard to spot, then suddenly the frog moves, and the super camouflage is lost. This lovely design of a Spring Frog is captured by Michael Simpson in an edition of 150 pieces. Bronze is the ideal material to show the delicacy of the lily pad support as it holds the relatively heavy frog.

Height: 7.5cm x Width: 6cm x Depth: 6cm Weight: 130g

Limited Edition: 150

Sculptor: Michael Simpson

The elegant frog is made in solid foundry bronze using the ancient method of lost wax casting. The design finished by the art of patination where various acids are applied to the surface of the bronze and heat applied to create a deep rich brown patina.  Then bronze is then sealed with a special wax which further enhances the colour and protects the bronze for years to come.

Your bronze is beautifully presented in a printed box containing a signed certificate of authenticity. The bronze is engraved with the sculptor’s signature and limited edition number, matching the certificate enclosed.
